“Is this anything?” is a performance that builds upon Cynthia Chang’s music project “boiled wool.” Chang uses pop songs and sculptural props as a point of departure to meditate on their own anxious questions around making, performing, heartbreak, and self-improvement. While the work stems from potentially self-indulgent questions around needing to be seen, the artist will do their damndest to give you something to look at.

We are a single small studio for rehearsal and performance exploration. We believe in a poetic means of processing information. As we move through constantly changing paradigms, Otion Front Studio offers space for moving it through the body.

Otion Front is run 100% on work-exchange, ticket sales, and donations from our community.

Accessibility & Warnings: There are several flights of stairs to access the building, if you need help using the stairs please notify us and we will be there to assist. Masks and proof of vaccine encouraged at shows. Email us at otionfront@gmail.com.
